The Rochester facility has been in
operation since 1908 and has the distinction of being the first biological
license holder for vaccines and other biological products manufactured in the
USA. Vaccines are no longer manufactured at the site, and the previous owners
being Parke-Davis, Warner Lambert, and recently King Pharmaceuticals,
extensively extended and remodeled the facility. The facility currently produces
a range of products in the ophthalmic, pain, endocrine, otic and women’s health
markets. The facility also produces the leading diagnostic for tuberculosis
testing and a range of biopharmaceuticals for leading innovative domestic and
global companies.
JHP Pharmaceuticals Rochester facility has a long history of contract
